About our Videos

Students will learn the basics of scriptwriting and video production. All participants will learn how to write and produce a script on issues facing inner city youth (teen pregnancy, violence, abuse, etc.). The final script for production will be decided by the participants. Once the scripts are written; students will choose their involvement in the video production process; video crew (behind the camera) or the cast (in front of the camera). The youth will then produce Public Service Announcements (PSA"s) that will have the opportunity to be viewed on Rochester Channel 15 and Time Warner Channel 18. Teens will also attend a vocational workshop focusing on the business aspects of television/video production.
